1 Comment 24 November 2010

The The L.A. Mart Design Center recently launched SOURCELA in partnership with Los Angeles Magazine to showcase the area’s emerging designers and artists, and to make their one-of-a-kind, limited edition and new-to-market products available to the trade and consumer audiences.

Curatorial Director Matt Locke (from HGTV’s Design Star and Showdown) pulled together forward-thinking, ultra-cool products for SOURCELA’s Exhibition ONE from:

Brooke Woosley
Bug House
Cliff Spencer
David Brotman
Jared Rusten
Javier Palomares
Level Design
Mark & Anita Mothersbaugh
Nick Petronzio
Nolen Niu
Scale 1:1
Suzan Fellman
Tanya Aguiniga

A series of quarterly rotating exhibitions will be staged throughout the remainder of 2010 and into 2011–new objects from different artisans will be added to each exhibit.

A rotating art exhibit curated by Bryson Strauss of Strauss Fine Art and L.A. Art Machine (LAAM) complements SOURCELA’s gallery of products.

Guests marveled over the exhibits and enjoyed being a part of the emerging talent vibe at the SOURCELA debut. Read more about SOURCELA and tap into the future “who’s who” for home product design.
