Christopher Peacock’s Culinarium Kitchen

1 Comment 18 October 2010

Tuesday, October 19, the Culinarium begins at the San Francisco Design Center—a three-day kitchen and epicurean event featuring live cooking demos (including our own Chef Lea!), complimentary design workshops, seminars, cocktail parties and panel discussions for the public and the trade.

Most exciting is that Christopher Peacock, founder of Christopher Peacock Home, has designed a fully functioning kitchen in SFDC’s Galleria Atrium. It’s state-of-the-art and will represent how we can all have beautiful design, innovative appliances, and technology in the heart of our homes.

Here are the construction plans…

The kitchen is being built in front of the Atrium stage. There is a demo island so audiences can see Tyler Florence, Lea McIntosh, and Tanya Holland while they are cooking! Behind and on stage, there’s a dining room display from McRae & Co., designed by John Stewart, and an outdoor dining display by McGuire Furniture.

The cabinetry is from the Christopher Peacock Refectory Collection, a transitional style constructed from walnut and stained in ebony with polished nickel CP hardware.

The appliances by Miele are just amazing! The ovens feature PerfectClean Enamel, Miele’s revolutionary interior finish that make spills so easy to clean…no baked-on mess to scrape off.
